GEORGE RILEY
Retired FDNY Lieutenant George Riley is one of the many men I had the honor to work with at Ground Zero who have touched my life in a positive way. The love that George exudes for his fallen son Kevin, who was with Ladder 207, is a thing of beauty. There is something to be said for a man who wears his heart on his sleeve, as George does when he discusses the feelings he has for his son, who was his best friend. George always kept a small photo of Kevin in his helmet while he dug at the WTC site, as seen above in this photograph.
